Let's Roll...erm Sp|N!

Sp|N SG

Wink Hello everyone! This is Kian Haw here. Razz Finally, I get to come online to join this forum. First time...so, a bit "shan gui" about it. Shocked

Well, first and foremost, I need to know, is there any spinners in this forum? I saw many technical tips on how to strike, spare and "Longang" Laughing using a hook ball, but I hardly see the same for spin ball. Well, if that is the case...haha...I would become the sole representative of the spinning camp... Mr. Green [Who threw that tomato?] Exclamation

By the way, I only know the nicknames of a few SIM bowlers. I know who is Ding Idea (It took me a while to guess) , Jae and Jason, whom are so up-front about who they are...great! Smile Chuan's nick is obvious too but what does Chuanish means? Question

Saffry and Lilian's nicknames are? Exclamation

Has Ignatius and Adrian joined this forum

Right..."da jia qing duo duo zhi jiao". "Xie xie", thank you. Wink

Ian SG

i dun see my name... Sad

Sp|N SG

Embarassed Paiseh...paiseh...over-sight. Don't feel insignificant...

harmzuay SG

Stay out of harm's way. Twisted Evil
Just try and guess - it's more fun that way.

Oh, and there are other spinners here too. Mage is one of them. One of the more senior members are too. But I forgot which is his handle... Just go to one of my old, old posts where i ask the spinners a question. Not many replies there, but at least there's one or two names.

Welcome Spin,
As you would realize after you click the thread under topic starter Jason or rather the very first thread of this forum, Jason is the administrator of sgforums.
It is quite unlikely that our jason could be the person who started this webstite so you might want to make a guess again. Laughing

so what is exactly jason's nick?? Question
actually its quite easy for some of the nicks. like saffry's. they do give little clues. or you can read all the threads and you shd be able to find thru the replies.
find out yourself. Mr. Green

: I hate guessing... Neutral . You know the "I like this, buy I don't like that" riddle?
Spare me!!! (No PUN intended)

Therefore...thanks to Ian Tan who identifies himself. I was reading through some of his posts...profound indeed. Shocked

Hrm...my friend was commenting that our bowling club is very happening after I describe to him the activities. Proud sia. Razz Soccer, Bash, Murtabak + Teh Tarik at 3 a.m. Fun-filled sia.

On that note...anymore plans for outings? Sometime like a chalet or maybe some other crazy ideas. I don't doubt you guys...the seniors' ability, to come up with crazy ideas. Murtabak Appreciation Excursion at 3 a.m...is one of them. Laughing

harmzuay SG

It wasn't as if those activities are planned in the club agenda! Haha. Very Happy
It was more like, you did all those things, but with people you befriended from the club. Wink

Sp|N SG

Haha...true words of wisdom. Very Happy Never regretted joining SIM Bowling Club!

Hey, I looked through some of the threads...I still cannot identify who is who? Confused

Who is @pple? Saffry or Lilian Question I think @pple is Lilian. Is Saffry stars?

Hrm...should have kept my identify a secret too... Neutral

harmzuay SG

You can look through 5 pages of threads now and give your opinion one-by-one.

I won't spoil the fun for you, so I shall leave the telling of their identies to the owners of the handles. But you're right - Lilian is @pple.

Don't worry about not knowing anyone in the forum. Just enjoy it.
Everyone's good. Cool

chuanish SG

Spin, a person can be described as being chuanish if he behaves in a chuan-like manner. Of course, being a chuan myself, i'm always acting in a chuanish fashion, so technically, i'm the only one capable of being chuanish, if someone else in turn.......

Okay, see, it takes the kick out of everything when you try to explain it. It's like trying to explain a joke to someone who didn't catch the punchline.

SG

what riddle??
do you mean "we all like riddles but we dun like....eh.....mysteries?"

Power Torq SG

Hi, yup Mage a spinner, but he can hook the ball well too sia!Met him for a few games today and yah he’s good. Sorry to go off thread for a while, hope Sp|N dun mind ok? Heard from Mage he met up with some of you guys and had a good time bowling… really hope to meet up wif you guys soon too. Cheers!

me= ex simian/ spinner... Razz
u forgot to mention overnite mahjong session too ... ahahah

Sp|N SG

Chuan...have you ever thought of conducting classes on "chuanish" in SIM? It could be profitable...the hype of it is enough to earn you like many lifetimes worth of money. Besides...isn't it cool to have like say, a PhD. in the study of "Chuanish" or someone saying...I read "Chuanish" in SIM? Hah. Laughing

Hrm...I met Mage already. Surprised No wonder they were talking about program...program...program during training...claiming Mage comes from a program. Alright, they meant this forum.

is Lilian. She likes apples a lot Question Like how Harmzuay (hope I got your nick correct) likes MacDonald's? (He should be invited for a guest appearance on a Mac's commercial posing as either the Coke or the Fries...that reads out the vitamins and minerals found in Mac Food) Mr. Green

Well, as far as I can see or rather, know...I can think of 4 spinners in SIM. Not a large number... Sad

I don't know, I'm still eagerly awaiting the next crazy outing we are going to have. So...chuan...with your chuanish mentality...where to?
Cool

chuanish SG

Spin, let's drop the whole chuanish thing okay......

Let's go watch reign of fire next week, preferably first 3 weekdays, when the tickets are at a minimal price. After class.

SG

Spin,
there are also KTV and movies which you forgot to mention. Very Happy
reign of fire is correct despite poor reviews of it from fellow bowlers.
worth tryin. so when? some of us has class on wed right?
bt not me though. Sad
